We know many music lovers think about bringing their dogs with them to the Festival – and though we love our four-legged friends as much as anyone, we must ask that you leave yours at home. Most dogs are not allowed on the village playing fields.
The exception to this rule however are assistance dogs, whom we are able to welcome warmly. As you may know, The Equality Act of 2010 offers protection to those with disabilities to ensure that they can enjoy the same level of access as others.
This means that if you have an assistance dog, they can have access to all areas of Needingworth parish grounds and buildings, including the playing field and Village Hall.
As a diverse community of music lovers we’re sure your assistance dog will enjoy the festival as much as humans, so please feel free to bring them with you! If you’re likely to need any help or support on the day, feel free to drop us a line and let us know in advance. We can provide water – and perhaps even some tasty treats!
But please remember – this exception applies to assistance dogs only. If yours is not an assistance dog and you bring them with you, we will not be able to allow you on site.
Thank you in advance for your co-operation and understanding.
